Extra Curricular Activities

In this major journey that life is, the more skills our little sailors may acquire the better and safer it will be their journey. At AIS we believe that knowledge does not take up any space and that is why we offer a huge variety of activities and extracurricular programs, to enable them to the great challenges of the ocean of life.

Besides being a great source of knowledge and culture, these activities promote a full development, promoting self-help and team spirit.

When we trust in the “sailor” beside us, the possibilities to take the ship successfully are empowered.

All the extracurricular activities take place at the school facilities, except for the swimming lessons.

These activities are also available to external children and adults.

The extracurricular activities are:

From 2 years of age

• Ballet – 2 days a week

From 3 years of age

• Ballet – 2 days a week
• Dance – 1 day a week
• Futsal – 2 days a week
• Judo – 2 days a week
• Swimming – 2 days a week
• Drama – 1 day a week
• Oboe
• Violin
• Cello

From 4 years of age

• Mini-tennis – 2 days a week

From 5 years of age

• Jiu Jitsu – 2 days a week

From 6 years of age

• Catechism 1 day a week

Extracurricular activities don’t take place during school holidays.

These extracurricular activities can be changed or enlarged.

EXTRACURRICULAR PROGRAMS

The extracurricular programs are available to external pupils.

School Holidays

During school holidays, our institution offers a wide range of activities adapted to the children’s age that attend our school during these periods.

Beach Program

The AIS beach program is for children over the age of 2 and it takes place between June and July for 2 or 3 weeks with time departure at 8.30a.m.

The choice of the beach depends on the equipment available at the beach for SEN children to get to the beach and to the water.

August

AIS is opened all year with exceptions for some days defined annually.

During the month of August weekly programs are organized adapted to the children that attend the institution during this period.
