School Administration

The AIS administration staff is composed by:

  • The financial and administrative Headmistress
  • The Pedagogical Head Teacher

 

Coordinators 

Each school department has its own coordinator:

  • Nursery
  • Kindergarten
  • Primary
  • Special Education Department

 

Kindergarten teachers

There are 12 nursery and kindergarten teachers, with a degree in Education, 7 by the Escola Superior de Educadores de Infância Maria Ulrich, 3 by the Escola Superior de Educação de Lisboa (ESEL).

 

Cycle 1 Teachers

There are 6 teachers, 5 with a teaching degree by the Escola Superior de Educação, 1 by the Universidade do Minho, 3 of special education.

 

Special education and specialized technicians

There are 6 teachers with a degree on Special Education, 6 specialized technicians and 1 psychologist:

  • Speech therapy
  • Therapy dog

 

Extracurricular Activities

At AIS there are specialized teachers in the following activities:
